I found this plant alongside the road in a field in North Dallas. The dirt was fairly dry, and image is attached.ANSWER:
You have encountered an annual plant called Snow-on-the-mountain, botanical name Euphorbia marginata. This plant grows from 1-3 foot tall, w/ prominent variagation on the foliage toward the tops of the plant. Very prolific about this time of year.
