Brundage, Stephanie

Stephanie Brundage learned photography from her first husband, a professional photographer, and has spent many years taking pictures of family and friends. In college she majored in biology and found an interest in ecology but was diverted into the healthcare field for her profession. In her spare time from career and child rearing, she dabbled in photo darkroom (in the film era), nature photography and gardening – especially with native plants.

Since her retirement in 2014, Stephanie has divided her time between Austin, Texas and the mountains of rural western North Carolina. She continues to focus on flower gardens and visual arts. She has recently worked as a volunteer to establish a new native plant garden in Hayesville, North Carolina using plants rescued from land under development.
