Habitat: Bottom of west facing hill, in full shade to partial afternoon shade. Soil very thin and rocky.
Description: Erect, 15-30 cm high with single to several stems arising from base. Narrow oblanceolate leaves that are opposite, 2-5 cm long with entire margins and a few sparse hairs on midrib. Purple flowers in the axils of leaves. Perennial.
