Habitat: Half shade. Above average moisture. Deep, alkaline, alluvial soil.
Description: Rough, hairy perennial from stout taproot. Single stem, erect, to 35 cm. Lower leaves not persistent. Leaves sessile, 1.5x5 cm, acute. Entire plant covered in appressed yellowish pubesence. Fruiting pedicel short. Calyx lobes lanceolate, 6 mm long with spreading hairs. Corolla 1.2 cm long, canescent, lobes triangular, acute, with apical tuft of hairs.
