Habitat: One plant in shady area. Moist to dry conditions.
Description: Vigorous, perennial vine, hirsutulous throughout. Stems 1.2-1.8 m long. Bracts 18-25 mm long, bipennatissect or tripennatissect. Flowers 18-50 mm wide, purple, petals slightly shorter than the sepals, corona filament in several series.
