Habitat: West facing hill under Juniperus ashii; seems to favor partial shade. Soil very stoney and rocky, but w/soil between stones and rocks.
Description: Robust perennial with lower stems and roots woody. Stems decumbent, up to 2 m long. Inflorescense a clump of groups of 2-3 flowers all densely covered w/stalked glands, sticky. Colored petals 2 x 1.5 mm, many have nectar; stamens-2, exerted, dorsifixed.
