Abstract
This meeting abstract describes an experiment evaluating the effects of cross-pollinating Coreopsis tinctoria from Texas and C. leavenworthii from Florida. Cross pollinated plants produced more seeds than plants pollinated by other individuals of the same species. The morphological character of seed wings had limited value in identifying hybrid plants resulting from cross-pollination.Suggested Citation
