Abstract
Researches differences between embryonic and non-embryonic cell lines of Asclepias tuberosa grown in culture and removed from auxin. Cells of an E and NE cell line of A. tuberosa had different responses to the removal of auxin. The E cell line became embryogenic but the NE cell lines never underwent embryogenesis. Understanding these differences could help remove barriers to regenerating plants from tissue culture.Suggested Citation
