Abstract
Evaluates the effects of fire on the growth of Pityopsis graminifolia. The responses to fire were different depending on whether they were evaluated at the genet or ramet level. In burned sites, there was in increase in smaller ramets but no reductions in seeds or rhizomes on a per genet basis. Population regeneration occurred as a result of clonal ramet production and not sexual reproduction.Suggested Citation
