Abstract
Examines resource use of C3 woody plants (including Prunus americana) and C4 grassland species (including Andropogon gerardii) to determine similarity of functional roles. The woody plants were not functional equivalents of the C4 grasses but neither were they completely distinct in terms of resource use.Suggested Citation
