Abstract
Divergent populations of Chamaecrista fasciculata were used to study the effects of hybridization on offspring. Parental genotypes and nonrecombinant F-1s were compared to recombinant F-2 and F-6 generations. A recovery of fitness was observed in later recombinant generations compared to earlier hybrids suggesting that early hybrid breakdown can be overcome in later generations.Suggested Citation
