Abstract
Researches various factors affecting the germination and growth of Ipomoea pandurata. Moist stratification did not break dormancy but mechanical and chemical scarification increased germination. Optimum temperature and pH for germination are discussed. A planting depth of 2-4 cm resulted in the greatest plant establishment. This species is able to successfully reproduce by seed and develops rapidly once it germinates.Suggested Citation
