Abstract
Describes the similarity between a marsh dominated by Scirpus cyperinus versus cattail (Typha latifolia) in Wisconsin. The reason for the similarity between the two marsh types was due to a temporary, artificial drawdown of the waterfowl marsh. Discusses establishment mechanisms for Scirpus cyperinus in this habitat.Suggested Citation
