Abstract
Discusses seed storage, dormancy, and germination in Passiflora caerulea. Seeds were classified as orthodox since they germinated after dessication. Seeds can be stored at least 11 months. Germination rate and percentage were increased when the aril was removed. Chemical scarification prevented germination. These results may be applicable to P. incarnata.Suggested Citation
