Very durable, rosette forming, broad leaves. Open pyramidal sprays of tiny florets on delicate stalks bloom twice yearly. Perfect with other low grasses, sedges and wildflowers (esp. in rock garden). Avoid rich soils and tall companions. (Ontario Native Plants 2002)
