Many tight coils of small, white or pale purple flowers, on short branches at ends of leafy stems, bristly hairy because of harsh hairs on calyx lobes.
This species belongs to a complex group of closely related plants of dry, rocky mountain habitat, all with whitish flowers. They are distinguished from other Phacelias by their leaf veins.
